HOA Dry Detention Basin Brush Maintenance
Every subdivision has one: the stormwater basin at the back of the neighborhood that turned into a sapling farm. We get it back to open ground.
Typical price: $800–$1,200 per acre, depending on vegetation density and grade. Free site visit, firm quote.
Why basins need attention
Dry detention basins are built to hold stormwater for a while and let it drain out slowly. When saplings, brush and briars take over the bottom and the side slopes, the basin gets hard to inspect and maintain, and trees put down roots where they don't belong.
Most HOAs and property managers have to keep these areas maintained, and a string trimmer crew usually can't keep up once the woody stuff takes hold.
How ORA handles it
The track loader and Baumalight mulching head knock down the brush and saplings on the basin floor and the slopes in one pass. The mulch stays as ground cover. Nothing gets burned, and nothing has to be hauled out through the neighborhood.
Jason works directly with the board or the property manager, walks the basin, and gives a firm quote. Ask about regular maintenance passes so it doesn't get out of hand again.
What it costs
Our general range is $800–$1,200 per acre, depending on how thick the vegetation is and the grade (slope) of the property. Jobs like this one vary a lot in size and shape, so Jason quotes them after a free site visit. You get a firm number before any work starts. See the pricing FAQ for what moves the number.
